SHOCK ABSORPTION
HIGH REBOUND EVA MIDSOLE
The high rebound compression-molded EVA midsole absorbs shocks on descents. ESS support to control torsion and an internal plate to protect the forefoot from rough terrain. The 8 mm drop provides excellent performance in mountain running.
DOWNHILL PERFORMANCE
OVERSIZED HEEL
The very large heel shape provides great stability when walking or running downhill and on technical traverses.
Two rubber stability wings on both rear areas of the shoe ensure unmatched braking on technical descents, including scree, gravel, or loose rocks.
MIDFOOT SUPPORT
PRE-FORMED EVA FOOTBEDS
When muscles start to fatigue after a long trek or numerous descents on rocky terrain, it is essential to have a shoe capable of supporting the midfoot to prevent ankle injuries. Unlike our other shoes with C.A.S. technology, TECNICA MAGMA is designed with a preformed and cushioned EVA footbed that provides an immediate fit without the need for customization.
