The high-rebound compression-molded EVA midsole absorbs shocks on descents. ESS support controls torsion, while an internal plate protects the forefoot from rough terrain. The 8 mm drop provides excellent performance when trail running in the mountains.
DOWNHILL PERFORMANCE
OVERSIZED HEEL
The very large heel provides excellent stability when walking or running downhill and on technical traverses.
Two rubber stability fins on both rear sections of the shoe ensure unparalleled braking on technical descents, including scree, gravel and loose rocks.

When muscles begin to fatigue after a long traverse or numerous descents on rocky terrain, it is essential to have a shoe capable of supporting the midfoot to help prevent ankle injuries. Unlike our other shoes with C.A.S. technology, TECNICA MAGMA is designed with a cushioned, pre-shaped EVA footbed that provides an immediate comfortable fit without requiring customization.
