The rocker midsole, with its curvature in the heel and toe areas and rounded shape around the toes, has been carefully designed to improve MAGMA's responsiveness, grip, acceleration, and transition on technical terrain.

SHOCK ABSORPTION
HIGH-REBOUND EVA MIDSOLE
The high-rebound compression-molded EVA midsole absorbs impacts on descents. ESS support controls torsion, while an internal plate protects the forefoot from rough terrain. The 8 mm drop provides excellent performance when trail running.
DOWNHILL PERFORMANCE
OVERSIZED HEEL
The oversized heel provides excellent stability when walking or running downhill and on technical traverses.
Two rubber stability wings on both rear areas of the shoe provide unparalleled braking on technical descents, including scree, gravel, and loose rocks.

When muscles begin to fatigue after a long traverse or numerous descents over rocky terrain, it is essential to have a shoe capable of supporting the midfoot to prevent ankle injuries. Unlike our other shoes with C.A.S. technology, TECNICA MAGMA is designed with a cushioned, pre-shaped EVA footbed that provides an immediate fit without the need for customization.
