ARC5 SL - MIPS

Designed and developed together with World Champion Aleksander Kilde, ARC5 was created to become the ultimate alpine ski helmet. Drawing on the experience of one of the world’s top winter sports professionals, ARC5 is approved by the International Ski Federation and built with a Dura-Matter shell featuring an exclusive rear design that makes it easier to maintain Kilde’s extremely aggressive tuck position while avoiding irritating interference with the body and neck.
• DURA-MATTER: Our most robust construction ever, achieved through a method that uses an injection-molded Dura-Matter shell applied over a protective EPS foam liner. Resistant to impacts and dents, Dura-Matter offers the highest level of durability.
• SUPER-AERODYNAMIC SHELL DESIGN: The rear shell design allows you to assume and maintain an aggressive tuck position while avoiding interference with the body or neck.
• GOGGLE INTEGRATION: Designed to integrate perfectly with Oakley goggles, the helmet shape narrows around the strap area, helping keep the goggles in place.
• PROTECTIVE FOAM: Special dual-density foam inserted at the front and sides of the helmet and directly beneath the shell is designed to cushion any impacts against race gates.
• CONFIGURABLE PADDING: Configurable padding designed to adapt perfectly to the shape of the head, providing maximum comfort.
• REMOVABLE EMERGENCY EAR PADS: The special system allows rescuers to quickly and safely remove the ear pads if it is necessary to stabilize the head or neck following a fall.
• REMOVABLE CHIN GUARD: Compatible with a chin guard, which can be inserted or removed easily and quickly without the use of tools or equipment.
• FIXED VENTILATION: Ventilation openings at the front of the helmet prevent the goggles from fogging, while those positioned on top allow air to circulate freely inside the shell.
• MIPS® BRAIN PROTECTION SYSTEM Reduces rotational forces that occur during oblique impacts.
Polartec® Power Grid™: Breathable, sweat-wicking, removable and washable, the 3D inner liner aligns perfectly with the contours of the wearer’s head.
