The result of the experience of one of the best winter sports professionals around, the ARC5 is certified by the International Ski Federation and is built with a Dura-Matter shell featuring an exclusive design on the back that helps maintain Kilde’s extremely aggressive tuck position while avoiding annoying interference with the body and neck.
• DURA-MATTER: Our toughest construction ever, achieved through a method that uses an injection-molded Dura-Matter shell applied over a protective EPS foam lining. Resistant to impacts and dents, Dura-Matter offers the highest level of durability.
• SUPER-AERODYNAMIC SHELL DESIGN: The rear shell design allows you to assume and maintain an aggressive tuck position while avoiding interference with the body or neck.
• GOGGLE INTEGRATION: Designed to perfectly integrate with Oakley goggles, the helmet shape narrows around the strap area, helping to keep the goggles securely in place.
• PROTECTIVE FOAM: Special dual-density foam inserted at the front and sides of the helmet and just beneath the shell is designed to absorb impacts against race gates.
• CUSTOMIZABLE PADDING: Configurable padding designed to best fit the shape of the head, offering maximum comfort.
• REMOVABLE EAR PADS FOR EMERGENCIES: The special system allows rescuers to quickly and safely remove the ear pads if there is a need to stabilize the head or neck after a fall.
• REMOVABLE CHIN PROTECTOR: Compatible with a chin protector that can be easily and quickly attached or removed without tools.
• FIXED VENTILATION: Ventilation openings at the front of the helmet prevent goggle fogging, while those on top allow air to circulate freely inside the shell.
