TECHNICAL FEATURES
MICRO-ADJUSTMENT
INTEGRATED LACING SYSTEM
Highly durable yet lightweight construction with a classic tongue design for easy entry, combined with an INTEGRATED LACING SYSTEM for even greater fit precision.
QUICK TRANSITION
MIDSOLE CURVATURE
The rocker midsole, with its curvature in the heel and toe areas and rounded shape around the toes, has been carefully designed to improve MAGMA's responsiveness, grip, acceleration, and transition on technical terrain.
WATERPROOFING AND BREATHABILITY
GORE-TEX®
The materials selected for the upper offer water repellency and durability.
The GORE-TEX® lining provides the perfect combination of waterproofing and breathability.
SHOCK ABSORPTION
HIGH-REBOUND EVA MIDSOLE
The compression-molded, high-rebound EVA midsole absorbs shocks during descents. ESS support controls torsion, while an internal plate protects the forefoot from rough terrain. The 8 mm drop provides excellent performance when trail running.
DOWNHILL PERFORMANCE
OVERSIZED HEEL
The oversized heel provides excellent stability when walking or running downhill and on technical traverses.
Two rubber stability wings on both rear areas of the shoe provide unmatched braking on technical descents, including scree, gravel, and loose rock.
MIDFOOT SUPPORT
PRE-SHAPED EVA FOOTBEDS
When muscles begin to tire after a long traverse or numerous descents over rocky terrain, it is essential to have a shoe that supports the midfoot to help prevent ankle injuries. Unlike our other shoes featuring C.A.S. technology, TECNICA MAGMA is designed with a pre-shaped, cushioned EVA footbed that provides an immediate comfortable fit without requiring customization.
