POC SKULL ORBIC X SPIN

The Skull Orbic X SPIN Helmet is a high-speed racing helmet approved by the FIS. Featuring POC’s patented rotational impact protection system, SPIN, the internal pads reduce the effects of an oblique fall by decreasing the amount of force transmitted to the head and brain. SPIN works by allowing the pads inside the helmet to slide in any direction during an oblique impact, a process inspired by the brain’s internal protection system, cerebrospinal fluid, which cushions the head during a fall.
Using innovative and unique pads that sit directly on the wearer’s head, the SPIN pads allow the helmet to move relative to the head during a fall, reducing the force transmitted to the brain. A combination of SPIN, an advanced multifunctional EPP liner, thicker in strategic areas to manage more demanding and repetitive forces, plus a sturdy ABS shell, produces a very safe and durable helmet that meets the needs of skilled skiers.
The Skull Orbic X SPIN Helmet also features ear chambers designed to improve balance and hearing without compromising safety and grip, and the helmet is compatible with POC’s Maxilla face protection to provide additional protection if needed.
