The legendary fit and skiing characteristics have always been the most distinctive qualities of the EDGE ski boot. After several years of research and development, HEAD is launching a new generation for 23/24, further optimized with three revolutionary high-tech components. The shell features a multi-injection construction, meaning that 3 different types of plastic are fused together and positioned according to specific technical requirements. The new EDGE has 3 features that make it the most effective and comfortable boot HEAD has ever built. The first technology is called EZ-ON and was designed to make fitting simple and easy, with softer plastic around the instep to facilitate entry. The EZ-WALK function allows the shell to move freely, facilitating front-to-back movement which, combined with a GripWalk sole, enables a natural walk that is above all effortless and comfortable. The third component, EZ-SKI, is the construction that provides immediate power transfer to the ski. EZ SKI combines the HI-TOP shell construction (immediate transmission of movements to facilitate turn initiation) with POWER FLEX elements (harder plastics positioned in the cuff and shell) for lateral transmission to improve turn-finishing performance.
